Jacketed Coil Upgrades
Coils and heat exchangers are common in the industry. These upgrades are anything but common! My goal was to see how far we could take our existing coil and improve upon it. These designs were needed to maximize the cooling capacity of the coil and to streamline the recovery process in extraction.

Once the coil cover was created, I looked further into how the coil could be even more efficient. There was a realization that if a mirrored coil was designed, the coils could be stacked and daisy-chained. The longer the path length of the coil, the greater the cooling capacity.

Haskel AGD-1.5 Gas Booster. This is one of the leading refrigerant recovery pumps in the industry. I wanted to develop a design that included the jacketed condensing coil and this pump in one product.

I designed the Haskel AGD-1.5 Gas Booster Recovery Rack to accomplish this. This recovery rack comes with all the fittings and accessory items needed. It's a plug-and-play solution for extractors to add to their existing system.

This is an upgraded configuration of the Haskel AGD-1.5 Gas Booster Recovery Rack. It includes a 4"x24" sieve. A sieve is filled with a desiccant used for removing water and moisture from the solvent to prevent damage to the pump. It's also helpful in removing undesirables from the final product.
